The FDU contains Sub-Games and challenges for our Players characters, called an Avatar. When we launch in summer of 2010 (on the first day of Time, July 26th) we invite you to choose your unique Game or Soule challenges in order to:
1) Increase Personal Wealth of your Avatar Soule without harming other Soules, or the real world environment.
2) Foster Relationships with diverse
cultures, organizations, and individuals throughout the world.
3) Create a network of pioneers in all essential fields for community development that act as advisers & facilitators for humanitarian community project management.
4) Fund projects with adequate support for connecting resources, people, and projects important to developing sustainable living situations by leveraging new Information Age technologies.
5) Create personal Parallel universes, starting from nothing, that have their own laws (programming permissions) and currencies chosen by your Digital Soule.
6) Rally concerned people, activists, and organizations toward creating cooperative and collaborative multi-party teams to develop sustainable approaches to addressing poverty in communities of greatest need by leveraging information age tools and by choosing to work together.
7) Develop & Share a database of current and developing technologies designed to support responsible wealth creation practices, sustainable community practices combining environmental needs with those of the local economy, global expansion, volunteer outreach, project networking, and analysis of best practices.
8) Construct a model for interaction at a distance, using participatory methodologies, connect culturally diverse groups, utilizing tools for leveraging Information Age technology that are already proven to be effective.
9) Restore humility and compassion in the development of our future society by providing people with a sustainable wage earning option that does not require use of natural resources.
The FDU is meant to communicate on subtler levels as well, we are also hoping to:
Explain the complexity of interrelated global problems in specific relation to the industrial age transition to a Information Age;
Expose fraudulent practices, human rights abuses, and positve solutions to a much larger global audience;
Enable global problem-solving partnerships based on empirical best practices and need to emerge, collaborate, and share knowledge or resources as needed;
Expedite the availability and transmission of education, market opportunities, and sustainable practices across cultural and political barriers.
